Hörmann fire roller shutters
We supply fire-resistant roller shutters as one type of fire closure used to separate two fire compartments. In the idle state, it is in the upper position in a closed wrap.
Fire-resistant roller shutters are made of non-combustible textile and, in case of fire, prevent its spread. The shutter is controlled by a control unit, which is connected to an electrical fire alarm (EPS), or individual heat/smoke sensors and detectors. In the idle state, it is in the upper position in a closed wrap. In case of fire, the shutter is activated by an impulse from the EPS or from a smoke (heat) detector, a safety button, and the control unit gives an impulse and the shutter goes down. In the event of a power outage, this is ensured by a backup power source.
